I just wanted to share that World of Pies has always held a very special place in my heart, I found it on a shelf at school (in St. Louis,I never knew the author was from where I was!) to this day I’ve never forgotten it, I read it so much I was given it to take home!:) I actually received a new copy last year for my birthday after complaining so much about losing my original to a flood. I’m very sorry to hear that the author, Karen, has passed but I wanted to share she still has a fan out there sharing her wonderful book!
